Celebrate our local waterways with a new summer enrichment program.
Paddling Together invites community members of all ages to engage in social, cultural, historical, and environmental programs celebrating Clinton’s Indian River, shoreline, and coastal waterways.
This project is made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library, and support from Indian River Marina and Kayak.
Now available!
- Use your library card to borrow a pass for kayaking and paddle boarding at Indian River Marina in Clinton. Each pass is valid for a group of up to five guests to take out any available combination of single kayak, double kayak, fishing kayak, or paddle board from Indian River Marina for up to two hours. Participants will receive one-on-one water safety education at the marina before the activity. Visit the Reference Desk on the 2nd Floor to check out a pass.
